Richard Singer

Richard Singer joined The EMCO/ Hanover Group as a specialist in the capital and transaction markets. He serves as the Group’s Executive Director of Financial Services, given his 40 years of experience in the financial services industry where he held various security licenses, including Series 7, 3 and 65.

Richard Singer started his initial career with Merrill Lynch in 1977, working his way up to Senior Vice President and a member of that Firm's prestigious Chairman's Club to which he was elected in 1985 and continued through 1987. At Merrill Lynch he introduced and arranged for a variety of financings, including a $25 million Industrial Revenue Bond for a corporate park in suburban Philadelphia.

In 1987, he joined Prudential Securities where he traded both Equities and Commodities where he subsequently became part of that Firm's Corporate Executive Services Department .One of his key responsibilities and specializations was in lending on Restricted Securities for Corporate Executives - helping them to diversify their personal portfolios. At Prudential, he managed over $125 million in assets. In 1995, he joined Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette - DLJ (now part of Credit Suisse) where he was a Vice President, managing client assets. In 1996, he left DLJ to form his own consulting firm, J.P Richards, Inc., which he later renamed JPR Consultants, Inc. in 2007.

As President of JPR Consultants, Inc. Richard has designed, edited and implemented business plans that resulted in raising capital for both existing and start-up companies ranging from $1-25 million. As Director of Investor Relations for an OTC Bulletin Board company, Mr. Singer presided over a multi-media stock awareness campaign for a Satellite Connectivity Company that saw its market cap increase from $4 million to over $400 million. (1997-2001)He has continued to advise both private and public companies in raising both capital and stock awareness campaigns for the past 10 years with numerous successes in such industries as Energy, Bio-Tech, Entertainment, Mortgage Origination and Homeland Security. Most recently, Mr. Singer has arranged debt financing for up to $3 million for bank turned down companies in commercial/residential roofing, HVAC, start-up food services - focusing on loans for credit impaired clients.

Mr. Singer is a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington, D.C., where he earned a Bachelor if Science Degree in Political Science.
