Michael Selsman researches, writes and edits financial analyses, Due Diligence, business and annual reports, stockbroker-investor overviews, corporate presentations, speeches, books, and media communications for public and private companies. He has an extensive background in marketing, public relations, fund raising, media relations, strategic planning, corporate identity/image, public policy advocacy, employee communications and advertising.
Proficient in all aspects of public affairs, he is a specialist in financial & investor relations, governmental and charitable affairs, emerging technologies, travel, medical science, health care, bio-tech, real estate, food and restaurant companies, sports marketing and media training. He works with CEOs to bring their company’s' stories to the financial and consumer media in a material manner.
Mr. Selsman has been CEO of Archer Entertainment Media Communications, Inc. (AEMC), and a Board Member of Neah Power Systems, Inc. (NPWZ), and is currently a Board Member of Solar Quartz Technologies, Inc., (SQTI) and Gawk, Inc. (GAWK). He was co-owner of the Los Angeles Stars ABA franchise. He has represented and worked with Alpha Spacecom, Inc., Hong Kong (SAR), Buzz Technologies, Thailand (BZTG), MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (MMRF), Ciralight, Inc. (CGHA), Ascent Expo, Advanced Technetix (AVXN), The Sinclair Private Fund, Signal Hedge Fund, was Vice President of the Donald T. Sterling Corporation, which then owned the Los Angeles Clippers NBA franchise.
Prior, Mr. Selsman was associated with Rogers & Cowan and also, a Vice President of Fred Sands Realtors, Texas Capital, Securities America, Newport West Financial, along with being a former producer and writer at 20th Century-Fox, MGM, and Paramount Pictures, AMC Network Services (AMUX), Options Media Group Holdings, Inc. Michael Selsman also has served US Senator Dianne Feinstein as Deputy State Finance Director for her initial Senatorial campaign. As Chairman of the Public Relations Committee and on the Foundation Board of Directors of St. Vincent Medical Center, Los Angeles. Mr. Selsman created and edited a quarterly, leading-edge journal, Medical-Science News. He further served the Hathaway House for Exceptional Children and the John Tracy Clinic for Hearing Impaired Children, plus volunteering on the publicity committee of the League of Women Voters and the American Cancer Society, Los Angeles Coastal Cities Unit. In addition, he has also counseled court-ordered groups at the Beverly Hills Family Counseling Center in Beverly Hills along with being a contributing editor for Live Trading News (www.livetradingnews.com).
Mr. Selsman further has guest-lectured at schools and universities such as UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, Westlake, Mount St. Mary's and Loyola, and has been quoted in Time, Newsweek, TV Guide and various books and newspapers, on contracts and changing social mores and values in the media. He has also appeared on national and European network television programs commenting on Hollywood studio history. In December 2015, Troika Publishing Media published Selsman’s autobiography, entitled “All is Vanity.”
