Ms. Issaree “Sunny” Suwunnavid – Corporate Coordinator, Far East, The EMCO/Hanover Group

Ms. Issaree SuwunnavidMs. Suwunnavid brings to EMCO/ Hanover an unique and vast experience in working with a variety of corporate transactions throughout the Far East. During her distinguished career, the Royal Family of Thailand for numerous contributions to the people of Thailand has honored her for not only her civic involvements, but also for her accomplishments in the business world.

Fluent in Thai and English, plus with an ability to understand German, Sunny is able to lend to EMCO/ Hanover her personal touch to solving business-related problems, not only from the executive suite but also from the legal environment. In the latter capacity, she has coordinated the business relationships for a regional law firm with offices in Bangkok, Dubai and Singapore as its Chief Executive Officer of several of their capital funds, totaling in excess of US$100 million.

Ms. Suwunnavid began her post-collegian career in the hospitality industry. Since then, during her 15-year career, Sunny has been a strong contributor to the Thailand’s Princess Pa Foundation and The Thai Red Cross Society, working directly with HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha. She has also worked with The Honorable Jintanantchaya Subhamitr Ph.D., a member of the Thailand’s National Legislative Assembly and Chairman of the Protection of Children’s Rights Foundation in Thailand.  She further has been a contributor to World Childhood Foundation founded by Her Majesty, Queen Silvia, of Sweden. She also has been a Consultant to The Department of Export along with The Ministry of Commerce at The Busan International Film Festival in 2012 and acted as a TV Host for the Thailand Society for Arirang TV (worldwide), in South Korea, 2012-2013. Adding to that is another diversity in her credentials where she has been involved with the National Federation of The Thai Films Association, at The Thailand International Film Destination Festival, in 2014.

In addition Ms. Suwunnavid’s career has included that of being a Key Speaker at the 4th Annual Euromoney Thailand Investment Forum in 2010. She has also acted, using her government experience, as a consultant to STX Corporation, the world’s 4th largest shipbuilder, in helping them to set up its Thailand branch operations. In addition, she has been a consultant to Grande Asset Hotels & Property on investment and various legal matters, plus Investor Relations.

Initially educated in the United States, Ms. Suwunnavid holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mahidol University International College, Salaya Campus, Thailand.
